Why a Roadster gets seen

  • 1,500–2,000 miles driven every month, across the UK.
  • Regular runs to Leeds, Sheffield, London, Swansea, Edinburgh, Carlisle and Southampton.
  • Major UK motorway networks — the M1, M6, M4, M8 and beyond.
  • A car this rare gets photographed and shared on social media wherever it stops.
  • We attend UK car meets and events throughout ownership.

What happens to the money

  • 25% deposit is taken via Stripe when your bid is accepted — non-refundable.
  • The remaining balance is due once the vehicle is delivered and before sign-writing.
  • Funds are held by a dedicated holding company, supervised by Nuvo Accountancy.
  • We need at least £200,000 to go ahead. If bidding falls short, we cover the gap with an interest-only loan against the project — see the terms.
  • After 2–3 years, the car is auctioned. Proceeds settle that loan first, then — after auction fees and any applicable tax — the remainder is split between UK-registered charities in proportion to their votes. Vote here.

Explainer video

This is a genuinely new idea, so a 60–90 second explainer converts far better than text alone. Drop your video embed in components/site/explainer-video.tsx once it exists.

Press & media

Once the vehicle is on order, we'll contact UK media outlets for coverage. A press kit page (spec, route stats, high-res photos) lives at /press — build it out once you have real photos and figures.
